The state commission approved the $1.5 million acquisition of CH Energy by Canada-based Fortis, last month. A spokesperson for Citizens for Local Power, which opposed the Fortis-CH Energy deal, said the commission should reject the company's request to withhold the data from the public. CH Energy serves about 300,000 customers in eight counties in the Hudson Valley.
