WGXC currently airs a mix of local, national, and international news including:
- "What's The Frequency, Kenneth?" - Wednesdays from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- "Background Briefing" - Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.
- "Flashpoint Daily News Magazine" - Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- "Democracy Now" - Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- "Yonder Radio" - Mondays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- "P.O.P (Prevention On Point)" - 2nd Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- "Law and Disorder" - Mondays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- "Monday Afternoon Show with Kieran Riley" - Mondays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- "Tuesday Afternoon Show with Pastor Kim" - 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- "Tuesday Afternoon Show with Randall Martin" - 2nd, 4th, and 5th Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- "Li Le, Li Tan" - Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- "Hudson Mohawk Magazine" - Monday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
News segments that air at the top of the 12 p.m. hour, 4 p.m. hour, and sometimes 5 p.m. hour include:

On Sat., Aug. 11, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney announced his pick of Rep. Paul Ryan, from the swing state of Wisconsin, as vice-presidential nominee. Ryan is best known for his austere budget plan, which was voted on by Congress earlier this year. Democrats nationally are now trying to tie Ryan's very conservative deficit-slashing plan to the local Congressmen and women who voted for it. In NY-19, the new Congressional district that includes the WGXC listening area with incumbent
