WGXC currently airs a mix of local, national, and international news including:
- "Background Briefing" - Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.
- "Flashpoint Daily News Magazine" - Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- "Democracy Now" - Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- "Hudson Mohawk Magazine" - Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and Monday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- "Law and Disorder" - 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Mondays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- "WGXC Afternoon Show" - Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- "Li Le, Li Tan" - Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Photo by Kate Previte.[/caption]The Philadelphia-based Greenfield Foundation announced this week that Columbia County-based jazz drummer and composer Bobby Previte won the 2015 Greenfield Prize. This annual award includes a $30,000 cash prize as a commission for a new work of art to be realized within two years. In addition, the winner is given residency time at the invitation-only Hermitage Artist Retreat, a premier performance by a professional arts organization on the two-year anniversary of the award and assistance in helping to have the new work programmed for future performances. Previte beat out some impressive semi-finalists, in composers Don Byron, Tyshawn Sorey and Julia Wolfe. The prize will be presented Sat., April 18, in Sarasota, Florida. For more information see the
