Predicted rain might wash out this weekend of skiing on the local mountaintops. At Hunter Mountain, they've added all sorts of weather features to their website so one can see the weather before making the trek up the mountain where most trails are open with 16-52" of snow. At Windham Mountain, 48 trails and five lifts are open with 26-32" of snow. January 11-13 Windham hosts the annual "Learn to Ski and Ride Festival" teaching wounded warriors skiing and snowboarding.
