Maximilian Goldfarb is an interdisciplinary artist, producing site-derived works in various media. His projects often deploy emergency procedures to activate situations integrated with everyday circumstance. Goldfarb completed Deep Cycle with support from the Harpo Foundation, the Elizabeth Firestone Graham Foundation, and the Experimental Television Center. Recent work utilizes Mobile 49, an experimental mobile research/production facility. Goldfarb is a collaborator of The Incident Report Viewing Station in Hudson, New York. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in venues including, SculptureCenter, NY; Stadsgalerij, NL; Western Front, BC; White Columns, NY; and the Neuberger Museum, NY. A recent fellow at the Macdowell Colony, Goldfarb is co-author of the upcoming book Architectural Inventions, an archive of visionary architectural drawings. Goldfarb's works for Wave Farm's terrestrial radio station (WGXC 90.7-FM) include the monthly radio show Human Machine.
