Hudson Mayor William Hallenbeck Jr. was present for the opening and expressed appreciation for the contributions of all involved. Read the full story in the Register Star.
Melanie Lekocevic reported in The Daily Mail three incumbent Republicans were sworn to new terms on the Coxsackie Village Board last week. Mayor Mark Evans and trustees Stephen Hanse and Paul Sutton were re-elected unopposed in the March election. Evans said, "I am very happy to begin another term. We accomplished a lot in the past few years in this village, but I don't do any of it by myself." Evans credited the members of the Village Board, the Clerk's Office and other village employees for making the village work. In the organizational meeting that followed the swearing-in ceremony, Evans appointed Hanse deputy mayor. Read the full story in The Daily Mail.
