Broadcasting in the 45th year of the Woodstock Aquarian Festival, a conversation with Chase Randell and Frank X. O’Leary of the Long Spoon Collective, a sustainable living undertaking on the Catskill/Saugerties border that involves an experiment in moving toward a moneyless life paradigm. They are building movable small houses, farming for subsistence and trade, and drawing from circles of members who are joining the work and reaping the rewards. Randell and O'Leary discuss the genesis of their ideas and the flexibility one must have working to take the ideal forward. Catskill resident Harry Matthews joins in on the conversation. Music by Canned Heat and Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra. Produced by Paul Smart.
