Paralektronoia
"The electro-paranoia phenomenon has left its mark on the lives of numerous electronic pioneers. Russian-born Lev Sergejewitch Termen not only invented the instrument theremin, he also invented the infamous bugging device for the KGB. Joe Meek, the eccentric British music producer, locked himself, at times armed, in the studio in order to keep the origins of his sound effects secret. And the German composer, Karlheinz Stockhausen announced: "I was educated on Sirius and that's where I want to return to, even though I currently live in Kürten near Cologne". A 'paralectronic technician' is a metamorphosing mental radio with hypersensitive antennas.
In order to track down "Paralektronoia", Felix Kubin collected inventors and musicians who research the effects of invisible oscillations on the psyche using systematical field studies and radiophone experiments. "Paralektronoia" removes the borders between transmitter and receiver.
Listen to your inner voices. Your radio is listening, too."
