Eat Food or Die: Food Conversations for a Better World
Eat Food or Die aired on WGXC from December 2011 to May 2013.
Chef Hugh Horner talks to farmers, chefs, and other folks involved in our local food system.
"Son of the South," Chef Hugh Horner has been in professional kitchens for 19 years. The self-taught 33 year old began washing dishes at the age of 14 and worked his way up to becoming an Executive Chef. The Carolina/Georgia native fell in love with the Hudson Valley while working in NYC, and it was a must move. He is now the Executive Chef at Club Helsinki in Hudson, and brings to you his radio show "Eat Food or Die": a discussion with local chefs, cheesemakers, winemakers, farmers and artisans. The show's objective is to connect the listening community with the food industry professionals of Columbia and Greene counties.
