This month, The Work Show went on the road... or maybe we should just call things what they were. We went on vacation. Among the people interviewed about their working lives, and dreams - as well as their ideals for the future of their careers and travel plans - were members of the Italian family our family did a home exchange with in Rome, a bartender at the Prince of Wales pub near Embankment and Charing Cross tube stations in London, and the host's seven year old jet-lagged son Milo David Smart. Sound and music elements include the sound of the Sistine Chapel, and its shushing guards, Lorenzo Jovanotti, Gianna Nanninni, the comic singer Renato Carasone, The Kinks, and the sounds of the Queen's Royal Horseguards during their daily changing ceremony.
