Green Party gubernatorial candidates Howie Hawkins visited Hudson, Wed., Oct. 29, making an appearance at Swallow Coffee on Warren St. late in the afternoon. Before arriving in town, Hawkins called in to WGXC's @Issue, announcing he now holds a 9 percent lead statewide, and is polling in the double digits in upstate senate districts. Hawkins was asked if he knew why: PLAY (:53). Hawkins also responded to incumbent Andrew M. Cuomo's recent comments to the editorial board of the New York Daily News that he views the K-12 education system as a monopoly: PLAY (2:26).
