New Year's Eve performances.

One and all are invited to ring in the New Year with WGXC at the Half Moon in Hudson! Our sixth annual fundraising bash starts off with karaoke hosted by Amanda Lees, followed by dancing to the music of Blueberry (www.blueberrylounge.com) straight into 2019. Then, DJ Var (WGXC’s “Friday Night Vibes Session”) takes control into the wee hours. Your $10-$20 (sliding scale) contribution at the door benefits WGXC 90.7-FM. Food will be available all night from the Taste of India food truck, with a portion of food sales also to benefit WGXC. The entire event will be broadcast live on 90.7-FM and wgxc.org. We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones!

Digital art is a medium that uses digital technology to create works of art. Participants will learn how to use the differing programs necessary to construct, share and maximize ideas culminating in a collaborative session in which participants will create their own work on site at the Hudson Area Library. Join filmmaker and music video director Zia Anger and photographer Yulia Zinshtein to create photography, gifs and video. This program is for tweens & teens (8-17-years old) and spots are limited.
