Allison Marchese is a graduate of Fordham University in New York City with a degree in communications and creative writing. She spent much of her professional career in public relations in New York traveling throughout the world promoting luxury hotels and spas, and later as a marketing professional and fundraiser. In her work as a writer, Allison has written books, plays, and short stories, as well as movie reviews, short fiction, feature-length articles and essays on local people, places, and events in and around her adopted home of Columbia County and throughout the Hudson Valley.
