The Watershed Post's "Half-Hour News Hour" has aired on WIOX (91.3-FM, Roxbury) Wednesdays at 1 p.m. for several weeks, and each week WGXC has picked up the feed and rebroadcast the show. The week after Hurricane Irene, Gov. Andrew Cuomo walked into a studio and talked to hosts Julia Reischel and Lissa Harris live on both WIOX and WGXC about the storm damage in the Catskills. Now the "Half-Hour News Hour," with its coverage of Greene County and the rest of the Catskills, airs every Wednesday at 3 p.m. on WGXC 90.7-FM. During the aftermath of Hurricane Irene, the Watershed Post and its live blog became the central information exchange among many in the Catskills during one of the worst emergencies in this area's recent history, and now you can tune in every Wednesday at 3 p.m.
