Schumer says New York bridges need funds
Jun 29, 2014 12:05 am
Brian Hubert in The Daily Freeman reports New York Senator Chuck Schumer says more than 2,200 state bridges, including 423 in the Hudson Valley, are considered functionally obsolete or structurally deficient, and he wants to increase federal funding to fix them. Read Hubert's long, comprehensive survey of Ulster County bridges in The Daily Freeman.
