The Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York are learning radio from WGXC staff Sat., Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Hudson studio. ​A group of 12 ​Cadette-level ​Girl Scouts (​grades 6 to 8; ages 11 to 14, some of which are shown above with WGXC Station Manager Lynn Sloneker) are ​participating in the "Be Heard Broadcasting Series,"​​ Oct. 25, Nov. 1, and Nov. 8​. During the three sessions the girls will learn broadcast basics, make a station ID, and then conduct a live, remote broadcast from the Hudson Farmers' Market​​.
