CCF is an organization committed to removing individual and structural barriers to higher education for women with criminal record histories and their families. Nixon discusses state and national efforts to restore Pell grants to individuals inside of prison, among other initiatives to transform higher education for people behind bars. "On the Count" is a news and talk program that features analysis, commentary, policy recommendations and action plans. The show broadcasts out of Brooklyn, and is carried by WBAI New York.
