Also, a look at one story that was underreported during the first shutdown/debt crisis: The first WHO report linking air pollution in general to cancer. After the local and radio news briefs, a project from eTeam recorded Oct. 20 at Spotty Dog Books & Ale. eTeam, from Cairo, teamed with Bobby Previte and Andrea Kleine, from Craryville, for a reading of "Buzz Cut" with live electronic sounds and spoken words. "The novella is an account of eteam's visits to the towns of Moon and Mars in Pennsylvania, which eteam views as if they were simulated environments. On Earth, a training ground for eventual living on the planet Mars and Earth's satellite, the Moon."

Part two of two. From Wikipedia: "William Basinski (born 1958) is an avant-garde composer based in New York. He is also a clarinetist, saxophonist, sound artist, and video artist. Basinski is best known for his four-volume album "The Disintegration Loops" (2002–2003), constructed from rapidly decaying twenty-year-old tapes of his earlier music." This show samples "The Disintegration Loops" and other works, ahead of his Oct. 26 performance at RPI's EMPAC.
