Joel Tyner, Democrat candidate for New York's 19th Congressional District sat down at the Catskill Community Center Wed., June 20 with WGXC's Ron Diamondstein. They discussed high-impact hydraulic fracturing, reform, and more, in a half-hour discussion. Tyner, currently a five-term Dutchess County legislator, is running in a Democrat primary race Tue., June 26 against Julian Schreibman for a district seat that Chris Gibson (R-Kinderhook) currently represents. The demographics in the new district is slightly more Democratic than the 20th District that Gibson won from Democrat Scott Murphy during the Republican landslide of 2010.
