Hosted by Kieran Riley (Monday), Pastor Kim Singletary (1st, 3rd Tuesday), Randall Martin (2nd, 4th Tuesday), Tom DePietro and Selha Graham (Thursday), and a rotating collection of hosts (Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday)

Today we speak to author Eugene Linden about his upcoming talk "The State of the Earth, 2020" at the Carey Center for Global Good in Rensselaerville, NY. Linden is the author of seven books, and for many years wrote about global environmental issues for TIME magazine. He has contributed to numerous newspapers and journals, and has won a number of journalistic awards, including the American Geophysical Union's Walter Sullivan Award. His writing has explored the interactions of global environment, global finance, communications, and biodiversity.

We'll also hear excerpts from an event that took place this Saturday at the Hudson Opera House called "Q and A: The Art of the Interview," presented by Yaddo Corporation and the Oral History Summer School. How does a successful interview between doctor and patient differ from that of a police officer and a suspect, or a journalist and source? We'll hear from panelists Illya Szilak, who practices internal medicine at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson; Lt. Gary Wallace, who worked in the Hudson Police Department for 27 years; Jennifer Karady, a photographer based in Brooklyn; and moderator Suzanne Snider, a Hudson-based oral historian and writer, and the founder and director of Oral History Summer School.
