The city of Hudson has been ranked 17th on Bloomberg Business' list of the 20 Richest Small Towns in America. The full survey consists of 50 micropolitan areas with a population of approximately 10,000 to 50,000 people. Number one is Summit Park, Utah with an estimated median household income of more than $83,000 per year. According to Bloomberg, nearly 5 percent of Hudson households report an income of $200,000 or more. The median home value in the Friendly City is approximately $222,000. Hudson was the only small town in New York to make the list.
