Transmitter Hunt with Heidi Neilson at Lodge 2015
Wikipedia says: "Transmitter hunting (also known as T-hunting, fox hunting, bunny hunting, and bunny chasing), is an activity wherein participants use radio direction finding techniques to locate one or more radio transmitters hidden within a designated search area." We say: "Sounds fun, let’s try it!” Heidi Neilson was a Wave Farm artist-in-residence in 2014 and is a huge fan of antennas. At Lodge 2015, Neilson lead several transmitter hunts on the beautiful and expansive Reidlbauer's Resort grounds in Round Top.
On August 21 and 22, 2015, Lodge 2015 presents two nights and a day of salubrious enjoyment in the un-man-stifled beauty of the Catskill Mountains. Unwind and relax amidst the luxuriant grounds of Rieldbauer’s Resort. Participate in robust camp games with your fellow lodgers, or chose instead to seek nature’s splendor, which awaits those intrepid spirits who opt to explore the surrounding forest environs. Stop by the front desk to inquire about a pool pass, or else seek refuge in one of Crystal Brook’s gurgling pools. In the evenings, gather around Nussy’s Bier Garten for music and revelry—all in support and celebration of Wave Farm's radio station WGXC 90.7-FM!
