This month's "Mambo Italiano" showcases the usual 'giambotta' of Italian-American performers, from Enrico Caruso to Jerry Vale, and beyond. Special segments will feature the fabulous Bronx paisana, Laura Nyro (nee Nigro), and the writer of the month is the "pick and shovel poet," Pascal D'Angelo, whose autobiography, "Son of Italy," has a special significance for Columbia county.
