The National Weather Service's Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 8 p.m., tonight throughout the WGXC listening area. Snow accumulation of an additional 2 to 4 inches, with a glaze of ice is expected. An intermittent wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will continue this morning will likely mix with, or change to only rain for a period of time from late morning into the afternoon. Northeast winds of 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph are expected.
