According to the US Department of Agriculture Columbia and Greene counties produce over $100 million of agricultural goods a year. The Ag Report looks behind the stats to shine a light on the people and issues involved in food production in the Twin Counties. Host Brendan Donegan interviews local artisanal and mid-scale providers of crops, wool, and dairy, as well as fish and timber, and those at our Cooperative Extensions, Chambers of Commerce, and tourist board offices who help market our agricultural products.
Hudson resident Brendan Donegan delivers The Ag Report monthly on the WGXC Afternoon Show and hosts the Playing Favorites music show on Mondays at 11 a.m. His interests include local history, growing rare plants, collecting fossils, and fitness.
Also heard occasionally at 9 a.m. on the "WGXC Morning Show" and during "All Together Now!" weekdays at 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
