Kyle Adams reports in the Chatham Courier Mark Vinciguerra, former director of circulation at the Albany Times Union, has been named publisher of Hudson-Catskill Newspapers. He will step into the position sometime in May. “I think that we’re very lucky to get someone of Mark’s caliber to join the team,” said John B. Johnson, general manager of the Johnson Newspaper Company, which owns Hudson-Catskill Newspapers. “He has a wonderful track record at the Times Union of putting the customer and client first...." As publisher, Vinciguerra will oversee the Register-Star and The Daily Mail, both dailies, plus weeklies Chatham Courier, Windham Journal, The Mountain Eagle, Ravena News-Herald and Greene County News.
