Barry in the Poughkeepsie Journal reports that Route 375 became the Levon Helm Memorial Boulevard in West Hurley, in Ulster County on Fri., Sept. 27. Daughter Amy Helm unveiled a sign at the corner of Routes 28 and 375, with the tribute to the late drummer from The Band, and a Woodstock icon. The Band is included in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, and Helm lived in Woodstock from the late 1960s until his death in April, 2012. A second sign has been put up at the intersection of Routes 212 and 375 in Woodstock. Helm also led Midnight Ramble house concerts in Ulster County from 2004 until his death, that attracted fans from around the world to the Hudson Valley.
