Billy Roisz lives and works in Vienna, Austria. Her ability to translate experimental music into visual-memory images is particularly noteworthy, revealing borrowings from Minimal and Conceptual Art. She specializes generating video and sound through using monitors, cameras, video-mixing desks, synchronizers, computers, various electronics, and a bass guitar.

Her video works are distributed by Sixpackfilm and Light Cone. Her music has been released on editionsMEGO (solo & skylla) and mikroton (The Elks, cilantro, scuba, Feedback: Order From Noise). She was co-organizer and programmer of annual REHEAT Festival (2007-2015).

Her current live projects are noisycolors and Bass & TV Dining (solo), RISC (/w dieb13), cilantro (/w Angélica Castelló), AVVA (/w Toshimaru Nakamura), The Elks (/w Kai Fagaschinski, Liz Albee, Marta Zapparoli), and kern/roisz (/w ddkern). She has performed with Ilpo Väisänen (ONA), Silvia Fässler (skylla), JD Zazie, Burkhard Stangl, Mario de Vega, Anat Stainberg, Michaela Grill, eRikm, Martin Siewert, Alvin Lucier, Lillevan, Radian, Metamkine, and others.
