Snow emergencies declared

- The village of Catskill has declared a snow emergency and enacted an emergency parking plan, effective 8 p.m., Thurs., Feb. 13. During the snow emergency, all vehicles must be parked on the even side of village streets from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on the odd side from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. There is no parking on Main Street from Greene St. to Summit Ave., effective 8 p.m., Thurs., Feb. 13. The restriction will remain in effect from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. each day until the snow is cleared from the street. Residents are encouraged to park in municipal lots. Any vehicle found in violation of the emergency parking regulations will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
- The town of Greenport has declared a snow emergency, effective midnight Wed., Feb. 13, through midnight, Fri., Feb. 14. No parking is permitted on the streets and roads during the emergency. All violators will be ticketed and towed.
