This week's show is devoted to a discussion of Governor Cuomo's proposed legislation to raise the age of criminal responsibility in New York. The show will include interviews with Mishi Faruquee of the American Civil Liberties Union and Jonathan Gradess, the Executive Director of the New York State Defenders' Association. The show will also include an interview on the language of punishment with special guest Khalil Cumberbatch, an advocate with the Legal Action Center and a part of the leadership team with Just Leadership USA, a new organization devoted to cutting the prison system in half by 2030.
