The special segment this month includes a conversation with fellow WGXC host Karen Schoemer, who will chat about Concetta Franconero, aka Connie Francis. Schoemer interviewed Francis a few years back, and she is the inspiration for Schoemer's superb book, "Great Pretenders: My Strange Love Affair with Fifties Popular Music." Host Tom DePietro will speak with Schoemer, play a full range of Francis's music, and maybe Schoemer will reveal some show biz secrets about this troubled but talented legend. Poems might be read!
