Ariel Zangla in The Daily Freeman reports that the Greene County Legislature voted 12-0 Wed., Oct. 15 to exceed the tax levy cap for next year's budget. According to report, the lawmakers said the vote was a precaution, as they hope to present a budget within the state limit by Nov. 1.
