Cuomo releases some broadband plan details

Rick Karlin reports that Governor Andrew Cuomo released some details of his broadband expansion plan that aims to spend $500 million to insure broadband at speeds of at least 100 Mbps in most places, and 25 Mbps in the most remote underserved and unserved parts of New York. Cuomo made a Request for Information through the New York State Broadband Program Office’s website with responses due by Oct. 30.
