The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, east central New York and southern Vermont for today and tonight. There is a slight chance of non-severe thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening. Any thunderstorm will be capable of producing small hail up to a half an inch in diameter. Any thunderstorm that does form will generally move from west to east at the speed of 10 mph, or less. There is also a chance of thunderstorms Friday afternoon into the evening ahead of a cold front, and again on Saturday.
