Theresa Trossbach is a Co-host of Radio Explosion.
Introduced to the world of Radio by Courtney Murphy, co-host of Radio Explosion, 18 year old Billy Dow will be celebrating his second year at WGXC in 2013. He hopes to major in communications and broadcasting, and one day running the show behind the scenes.
Olivia Williams is a Jamairacan poet, who enjoys talking, peace-making, and audio editing. From birth she learned to love, and will continue on loving. She likes to write stories, plays, and fight for the positive aspects on life. She believes everyone deserves a voice. She's seventeen.
Jeremy Thal works with the WGXC Youth Radio Explosion Program. He is a horn player, composer, and co-founder of Found Sound Nation (http://foundsoundnation.org). He studied horn, ethnomusicology, and Chinese at Northwestern University, and has since played in orchestras, chamber ensembles, and jazz groups in China, Mexico, and the US. As an educator, Jeremy is an active teaching artist through the Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall, and has led workshops in Mexico and New York through Carnegie Hall’s Cultural Exchange Program. He has also taught music in China (in Chinese) and community garden-building workshops in Chicago for high school students. He has composed music for film and theater, and will soon perform an original live score to Buster Keaton’s “The General.” He recently recorded and toured with indie-rock band The National, and leads his own band, The Briars of North America.
Courtney Murphy is fourteen years old. She's from Niverville, New York, and is a student at Ichabod Crane Central School District. She's an actress, a pianist, and enjoys singing in the shower. She has an obsession with mood rings and umbrellas.
