Steve Bull's project "Cellphonia: Groundswell" is an audience-participation work, and live broadcast on Wave Farm Radio and WGXC. Anyone attending, or anyone with thoughts about the site, the viewshed, or the Hudson River, may call in and participate. Bull's program remixes the voices of callers into a song of the show. The project explores the intersection of site-specific environmental sounds with the intervention of computer code algorithm processing using public participation through a call-in phone number with live manipulation by the artists in the outdoor acoustic space.
