Local music week begins on "All Together Now!" this week. This is reporting week for radio stations, so we're playing even more local music than usual, to keep a few royalties in the community. Today we hear from Columbia County-based singer-songwriter Abby Lappen, Hudson-based 12-string guitarist Alexander Turnquist, and Catskill singer-songwriter Brett T. Miller. Also, the Cairo-Durham High School Band at the NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade is heard. Also, the show tunes in to what local Rep. John Faso (R-Kinderhook) did last week. "All Together Now!" is a new daily news show brought to you by WGXC in Greene and Columbia counties. The show is a unique, community-based collaboration between listeners and programmers, both on air and off. If you want to get involved, send us an email at info@wgxc.org. "All Together Now!" features local and regional news, weather updates, feature segments, and newsmaker interviews. Tune in to learn more about the issues that affect communities throughout the Capitol Region and the Hudson Valley, from the Catskills to the Berkshires. "Public News Service" national headlines and "Radio News" are among the regular features on this collaborative show. Listeners can call anytime (518) 291-9492 and leave a three-minute message, to be included on "All Together Now! (No guarantees, and repeat appearances will be limited, but we encourage contributions.)

"All Together Now!" also now has a 24-hour news webstream, where you can tune in to local news, hear your neighbors, and more, anytime. Tune in on the "Listen Live" bar on the WGXC website.
