Ski Report: Hunter, Windham open

[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="343"]From Hunter Mountain Facebook page.[/caption]The Greene County mountaintop got a couple of inches of snow this week, and the resorts are ready to open. Windham Mountain's first full day of skiing and riding is Fri., Nov. 30, and they should be open all weekend with seven trails with an 8"-24" base. Hunter Mountain also opens Fri., Nov. 30 at 9 a.m., but just for season passholders. Skiing and snowboarding open to the public Sat., Dec. 1 at the Hellgate, 7th Ave., Kennedy Drive and Fifth Avenue routes, with 6"-48" of snow, serviced by the Kaatskill Flyer six-passenger chairlift and D-Lift. "Skiing and riding will be for advanced or better ability levels only until we begin to spread out to cover more terrain," Hunter Mountain's website reports.
