Greene County ranks low in health outcomes

The Mid-Hudson News Network reports in The Daily Freeman that Greene County ranked near the bottom in health outcomes, according to the 2015 County Health Rankings and Roadmaps presented by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute. Greene County ranked 60th out of 62 counties in New York in the survey. Only Sullivan County and the Bronx ranked lower. Dutchess County ranked the best in the area, at ninth in the state, with Schohahrie County close behind at 14th in the state. Ulster County ranked 21st, Albany County was 29th, Rensselaer was 30th, and Columbia County ranked 35th, according to the survey. Read the full story in The Daily Freeman.
