Following the Hudson Valley Dance Festival, The Friends of Beattie-Powers will be hosting a panel discussion featuring dance luminaries Stephen Petronio, Phyllis Lamhut, and Nancey Rosensweig, as well as Sarah Cardillo (Development Officer, Dancers Responding to AIDS), Pam Weisberg (Director of Performing Arts, Catskill Mountain Foundation). The panel will examine the growth of dance related opportunities in the area, share individual perspectives on their hopes and plans for the future and field questions from the audience. This is an excellent program for dance lovers and those interested in understanding more about our growing arts-related economy. Wave Farm's WGXC 90.7-FM in Acra will record the event for broadcast at a later date.
