Temple Israel of Catskill invites the public to attend a Shabbat gathering and Tu B’Shevat Seder. Celebrate the New Year of the Trees! Rabbi Zoe B. Zak will be joined by guest musicians; she will lead attendees in welcoming Shabbat and partaking in the community Seder and potluck dinner. The Jewish New Year for the trees comes when the earliest-blooming trees in Israel emerge from their winter sleep and begin a new fruit-bearing cycle.
