Wave Farm artist-in-residence Mike Bullock leads this field-recording workshop. Participants will be asked to select threshold spaces in and around Wave Farm, and make audio recordings in those spaces. Attendees will use those recordings, edited but unprocessed, to create a live improvised performance during the Saturday Afternoon Show broadcast on Wave Farm's WGXC 90.7-FM (4:00 - 6:00 p.m.). The purpose of this workshop is to engage with threshold spaces, both real and imaginary, through phonographic practices: making audio recordings in everyday settings and using those recordings to create art works.
