2024 marks the 17th annual ArtEast Open Studio Tour –– a self-guided driving tour to the studios of local artists. The public is enthusiastically invited and welcomed on two weekends: October 19-20 and October 26-27, 11:00am-5:00pm each day. Not only will you get a chance to interact with artists in their creative settings, but you will be traveling interesting rural roads in the beautiful countryside of the Hudson Valley during peak foliage season. The dream of every artist is to have visitors come to their studio and talk about their work. You will have the opportunity to ask them about their latest projects and you’ll find yourself absorbed into their world. With 25 artists on the tour, you will find artists working in a diverse range of mediums. If you think you’ve seen it all before, take a look at the website and get yourself a brochure and you’ll find new work and new faces added to the tour this year. Mediums and styles to be found are 3d/sculptors, fiber artists, photographers, folk artists and painters so there will always be something to see that will catch your interest.
