WGXC Afternoon Show: Jonathan Bix (For the Many); Helen Rose (Catskill for Asheville Hurricane Relief) (Audio)
During the 4 p.m. hour, host Kieran Riley is joined by Executive Director of For the Many, Jonathan Bix, to talk about new developments in For the Many's work with Good Cause Eviction legislation, as well as housing work post-election, and how they're moving forward on issues like climate, immigration, and worker power.
During the 5 p.m. hour, Helen Rose joins "WGXC Afternoon Show" to talk about the upcoming event "Catskill for Asheville: Hurricane Relief" at The Avalon Lounger. Local musicians of the Hudson Valley will perform an evening of music to raise funds for BeLoved Asheville hurricane Helene relief efforts. All proceeds go to BeLoved Asheville.
