"Does the President Matter?" On the WGXC Afternoon Show, we hear more voices from the fifth annual Fall Conference at the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities at Bard College, called "Does the President Matter? A Conference on the American Age of Political Disrepair". The Conference was covered by WGXC's Rosalie Elkinton. Included in this segment: excerpts from Todd Gitlin and Anne Norton, on a panel that asked: "Is Occupy Wall Street a symptom of an irreparable loss of faith in liberal democracy?"; and excerpts from Ralph Nader's speech.
