The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for east central New York for Fri., Mar. 13. There is a chance of freezing rain late Friday. A storm system will impact the region over the weekend, although most of the precipitation will fall as rain, a brief period of freezing rain is possible for late Friday into early Saturday morning. The best chance for a prolonged period of freezing rain is across the southern Adirondacks, to the southern Green Mountains and Berkshires.
