On this month's edition of Roots, Runners, Rhizomes: Health & Healing from the Underground, we speak with Sascha Altman Dubrul, co-founder of the Icarus Project and author of "Maps to the Other Side: The Adventures of a Biploar Cartographer." We will speak with Sascha about his current book tour and an upcoming event in Hudson, May 5. We will also discuss the Icarus Project and its work as a community support network and media project that has actively redefined the language and culture of mental health and illness, with more than 12,000 members and dozens of peer-based support groups located all over the world.
