Wave Farm Artist-in-Residence, Joe Milutis, presents Translation, Transmission, Transformation, a broadcast dealing with the potential cross-overs between translation and transmission art. Writes Milutis, "I'll be interviewing Brandon Brown, Marie Buck, Marcella Durand, and Sandra Simonds on their various versions of Baudelaire's poem "Correspondences." Christopher Vandergrift will talk about his recursive Siri translation projects. Danny Snelson and I will have an extended discussion about translation, new media, conceptual writing, and radio, followed by a performance of "Epic Lyric Poem." There will also be a "correspondence remix" that will mash together versions of the "Correspondence" of Baudelaire recently sent in by Rachel Blau DuPlessis, John Tranter, Robert Mittenthal, Stephanie Barber, Erin Moure, and Lisa Robertson, together with homophonic Iliad riffs, disembodied nature tweets, and other vibrant pillarity calculated to make you respond with your own corresponding correspondance."
