Groden reappointed as Greene Co. Administrator

Kyle Adams is reporting in The Daily Mail the Greene County Legislature reappointed county Administrator Shaun Groden to a second three-year term, Wed., Sept. 18. The reappointment is effective Jan. 1, and will run through 2016. Greene County Legislature Chairman Wayne Speenburgh said, “I can’t say enough [about] how lucky we are to have him in Greene County. I wouldn’t want anybody else.” Groden's contract will remain the same with two exceptions: He will have three more days of paid time off per year and has chosen a lower priced healthcare plan. Speenburgh said the appointment was made early to “get it out of the way," thereby allowing Groden the time to focus on preparation of next year's budget. Read the full story in The Daily Mail.
