In this broadcast, conversations with Hudson Valley multi-media artists Kathy Velis Turan and Mimi Czajka Graminski.

K. Velis Turan is a visual artist working in mixed media fiber. She currently explores surface design techniques which include silk screen printing, fabric painting, photo transfer, stitching and embellishing the whole cloth surface of her work.

Mimi Czajka Graminski uses delicate materials to create works that speak to the intersection of feminism and femininity. She creates large-scale installations and sculpture out of lightweight materials, such as flexible screen, translucent vellum and sheer fabric.
